This is a listing of recognized clowns that have lectured at clowns functions and are knowledgeable speakers. If you would like to be added to our list, please send  your resume to us for consideration, if you would like to be taken off our list please send an email to Klownkop@aol.com.  Any contract between individuals or clubs have to be negotiated between the speaker and the Club or Alley. We are not responsible for any terms of contract. If you have had an especially wonderful presentation and would like to share your experience, feel free to send us a note and we will post it. If you encounter a negative experience we would also like to hear from you.

Bob "Mr. Puppet" Abdou :

       Bob is a full time ventriloquist/puppeteer from Austin, Texas. His puppetry skills include marionettes, hand/rod puppets and  wooden partners. He will not only perform but will teach three different classes on making you puppets come alive, polishing your puppetry skills and comedy writing. Don "Homer" Burda

    Homer has spend 36 years as an entertainer with more than 12,000 in theatrical and clown entertainment, and 23 years as an educational instructor in the performing arts. He has been a clown since 1970. He is prepared to do 30 classes for different subject.

Harry Allen

    Harry has been in the Magic/Clowning business for over 37 years. He is one of the most amazing magicians working today and is a magician’s magician. His humorous magic and personable manner makes him one of the most popular lecturers in the business. Harry has been on numerous TV shows including CNN, Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight, Nashville Now, The Learning Channel, etc. He has written several books on comedy magic and patter.

Stephen "Peachey Keene" Long

    Stephen has been a clown for 25 years. He is a consummate performer and teacher. Who has won more than 60 professional awards and commendations?

David Ginn

    David is a magical performer traveling the school show circuit. He is the author of over 40 books in the topic magic, performing and the business side of entertaining. He is in high demand as speaker at clown and magic conventions and gatherings

Duane Laflin

    From 1975 to 1991 Duane was a pastor. He learned magic to assist in his teaching of spiritual lessons. In 1991 he became an evangelist ministry and shows the magic he has created and worked so very hard as perfecting. He gives his all too both the magic with in his show and his evangelist shows.

David "Mr. Rainbow" Barlett

    Balloonist has been a columnist for several entertainment publications, and began teaching clowning 10 years ago. He has served on the staff of Advanced Studies and the International Festival of Children’s Magicians, as an artist in residence for the Durham, NC, public schools. He has taught master classes in comedy at the Duke University Summer Theater Program and at the Brightleaf Music Workshop.

Sammy Smith

    As a magician, Sammy has performed several thousand shows for schools, libraries, and other events. Sammy is the author of eight books, several audio-cassette tape programs, and six videos. Sammy has several articles in "Magic", "Genii", "Linking Ring", "M-U-M and others

Lee Mullally AKA "Juggles"

    Lee is the assistant to the Director of Clown Camp at the University of Wisconsin-La Cross, where he has been an instructor since 1990. He is a lecturer for Clown Camp on the Roads, Clownfest, Med-Atlantic Clown Conference, Northwest Festival of Clowns, and others. He has authored three book, Creating Theme Shows, Clown Character Drawing, and Comedy Juggling Routines.

Andrew "Kookie the Clown" Stevens

    Kookie is a party clown doing birthdays, hall engagement, and walkarounds covering the Southwestern England. He does many novel ideas. He is a master at ad lib comedy.

Roly Bain

    Roly is known as the English holy fool, he performs Christian clowning as seen by him.

Tricia "Pricilla Mooseburger" Manuel

    She is a graduate from Clown College. Tricia has toured with the Ringling’s Blue Unit. She is a designer of clown wardrobes and developing innovative props.

Barry "Bonzo" DeChant

    Barry has clowned both in and outside the circus, marketed a set of educational clown videotapes. He has done the World Clown Association’s three educational slide series. He has held the presidency of the WCA.

Richard Snowberg "Snowflake"

    Richard has directed Clown Camp for 21 years. He has written five books and over 100 magazine articles. He has been Education Director and President of WCA. The World Clown Summit, in Dalkeith Scotland in 1989 and the same in June in 2003. He was on the board of directors of ICHOF for nine tears and he was inducted into ICHOF in 1999.

Norm Barnhart

    Norm is an extremely accomplished entertainer and lecturer from Minneapolis. He has creative comedy, magic, and balloons. One of his lecture topics is "Entertaining with Balloons," "Comedy Writing", and "Thinking Theatrically".

Cheri "Cherri-Oats" Venturi

    To Cheri, teaching has become one of the most important parts of various aspects of the art of clowning. Clowning has become her way of life. She has lectured and performed throughout the United States. Also, she is the President of COAI. She also provides the supply of wigs and accessories for others to create the look they want for their costume.

Bruce "Charlie" Johnson

    Bruce has been performing as a clown since 1974. He combines juggling, magic, pantomime, and many other skills in his performances. He is the author of "Comedy Techniques for Entertainer" and is completing work on a new book titled "Creativity for Entertainers." Bruce considers practice an important part of the creative process. He believes it is because that is how you turn your ideas into something you can use to entertain your audience.

Leon "Buttons" McBryde

    Leon was a Ringling Brothers goodwill ambassador and advance clown. Buttons has over 1000 television appearance, produced corporate clown shows, and developed innovative new clown materials. He has served as a consultant and talent in feature-length motion pictures

Jackie LeClair

    Jackie is a former Ringling Bros. clown. Lecture on clowns of the past. Clowns were not always funny and what did they cover up.

Betty Cash

    Betty is a clown with the ability to set up new clowns with the clothing to bring out there talent and personality. She produces many fashions of clowns’ clothes. Betty, in 1988, was awarded the clown of the year. One of the many world wide events she participates in is Clown Camp. They have enlisted her talents for as many as 23 years. Betty is a regular lecturer at seminars and conventions through out the states.

Jim Howle

    Jim is a former Ringling Bros. clown who, along with his wealth of expertise and his ability to paint instructs other is the art of performance. He also has painted a series of artistic works called, Red Nose Philosophers. He is a graduate of Ringling Brother’s Clown College and also a graduate of the Sarasota Art Institute.

Arthur Pedlar

    Arthur is an English clown. He has been inducted into the International Clown Hall of Fame. He is a member of the "Holy Fools", a dedicated group of inter-denominational clowns who work in hospitals, prisons, special schools as well as churches.

Earl "Mr.Clown"Chaney

    Earl has traveled all the over the USA. With his many talents he is a magician as well as a clown. He currently is running several businesses from Las Vegas. His Suitcase Circus takes him to many schools and birthday parties.

Steve Kissell

    Steve is a humorist, author, and motivational speaker. He is the author of several books on humor and laughter.  He tours throughout the United States. His mini comedy tours are well received and feature the dynamics of the performing and humor of clowning.

Annette "Miss Pockets" Darragh

    Annette has been a professional clown for 16 years. She has been the Executive director of Clowns Care, Inc., a nonprofit organization which she founded in Birmingham in 1995. At Clowns Care she directs volunteers the art of clowning to work primarily with children in hospitals, shelters and service agencies, promoting COAI
