LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD   

Is there someone that has mentored you into the Basics of Clowning? Now is your chance to recognize that special person!

It was  brought to our attention,  many clowns were significantly influenced  by the unselfish mentoring of individuals who took the time to teach, direct, and divert our interests into clowning.

The MCA wishes to recognize and reward individuals living and deceased for their contributions to the clowning  profession.

Nominations must be in writing,  include the nominees name,  address, phone number, email and in cases of the deceased, should include next of kin contact information and be received  by July 1^st,  of that year.

Nominations can be made by the membership or a committee member,  however there are no self nominations, spousal nominations, or family member nominations.

The committee needs to verify criteria with the nominee. Nominees can provide non-returnable pictures or videos.  There will be a living and a deceased category. No more  than 3 inductees in any category in any given year. Awards will not necessarily be given annually.

 Criteria for consideration

      15 years of Clowning in the Midwest

      Teaching experience, community service, conventions,  clown camps,  variety of Arts,  educational articles, and  clown publications

      Clown Education, continuing education, other opportunities,  improv  classes, circuses,  Circus Barns, etc.

      Offices held, Clubs or Alleys created

      Awards, Recognition, and Achievements

      How has this person impacted the Art of clowning, and exhibited  behaviors adhering to  the Clown Code of Ethics.

The committee will consist of the outgoing Chief Joey  and at least 4 others.
